About
I was born and raised on the beach in Aotearoa (New Zealand), surrounded by the nurturing presence of my mum, sister, and grandparents. My early years were dedicated to sports, but it was through yoga that I discovered a deeper purpose in movement—one rooted not in speed or strength, but in self-exploration and connection with the Self. The winds eventually led me to Creature Yoga in the Bundjalung country (Byron Bay, Australia), where I would meet some of the most influential teachers and mentors.
I’ve had the privilege of learning from extraordinary mentors, including Bess Prescott, Tahl Rinsky, Rose Baudine, Gwyn Williams and Almuth Krammer. Each has shaped my understanding of yoga as a path of presence, healing, and transformation.
But it is the stories of my ancestors, the sun, the stars, soils and salt waters of the south pacific that stain my skin and run through my veins. Modalities of movement, touch, deep listening and healing have been silently gifted to me and my people for generations. My work, my offerings started as a way to connect to them, my tupuna (ancestors) & my wairua (spirit) .
