About

I grew up in Aotearoa (New Zealand), in a beach town with my mum, sister and grandparents. After years dedicated to sport came university, travel and then yoga. At 24, I started to attend a single weekly Ashtanga class with a friend, it wasn't long before I felt the potency of a breath-based practice. The winds led me to Creature Yoga, where I would do the majority of my trainings and teaching to date.

I am forever grateful to my primary teachers, Bess Prescott, Tahl Rinsky & Rose Baudine. To Bundjalung country (Byron Bay), Australia. Teachers in touch; Gwyn Williams, Brooke Ellington and Almuth.

But it is the stories of my ancestors, the sun, the stars, soils and salt waters of the south pacific that stain my skin and run through my veins. Modalities of movement, touch, deep listening and healing have been silently gifted to me and my people for generations. My work, my offerings started as a way to connect to them, my tupuna (ancestors) & my wairua (spirit) .
