A Yoga retreat for Our Students
Join us in the Greek island of Crete, for an opportunity to connect beyond the confines of the yoga studio in a truly extraordinary setting, delving into the landscapes of your inner and outer worlds.
We’ve dreamed up a retreat where you can yoga, have fun, reflect and open up to possibility.
Our 3-night / 4-day retreat includes Vinyasa & Restorative practices, with a focus on pranayama, meditation, and introspective journaling.
In an intimate and humble locally run retreat house, we are nestled in the heart of the enchanting traditional village of Douliana.
Surrounded by the stunning nature of Crete's landscape, we'll be just a 15-minute scenic drive from the Azure sea. Let's walk the olive groves leading to the coast line, stroll the small village and be captivated by the vistas that unfold.
Fly into either is either Chania or Heraklion. Chania is the closest option, just a 35min drive away. ( p.s there are really great flight prices from Berlin - Chania for these dates )
On booking you will have the opportunity to link up with other attendees in case you want to organise traveling together.
Our light-filled and elegant rooms open up to the 4000 square meters of sprawling land that houses our accommodation.
All rooms include an en-suite bathrooms. Choose between a quad, triple, or shared room based on your budget or opt for a private room by reaching out to us via email for personalized arrangements.
Anticipate nourishing to that will keep you energised and content, shared together twice a day , a light afternoon tea and a hearty family-style dinner following our final daily practice.
Once you confirm your booking, we’ll work with you in terms of any dietary restrictions.
Your Teachers and Hosts
Leanne has been teaching yoga for over 20 years in Sydney, New York and Berlin. She mentors teachers all over the world, guiding them through the inner work and to a place of trust and confidence.Leanne is Yoga Alliance ERYT500 and CEAS certified.
Vinyasa classes that are fluid and dynamic with a teaching style that guides your awareness to the subtleties of the practice. A fine-tuned and detailed body awareness.
Through slow, breath-guided movements, we will play and pause and unpacking the space within.
Check-in is May 3rd between 3-5 pm, and check-out May 6th after our concluding practice and final meal.
Yoga Practices: 1.5 - 2hr class both morning and evening, immerse yourself in the abundance of yoga. Of course, classes are optional, so feel free to indulge in a morning sleep-in if needed.
Each day strikes a balance between group activities, both on and off the mat and optional solo time.
We can hike to the coastline or through the countryside, delve into the township, or venture further afield in rental car.
Enjoy ample free time to embrace your introverted side, bond with new friends, get lost in a book or continue expanding on the inner work we will be offering during practice time.
A sample day
9.00am ~ Morning practice, a deep asana practice, blended with pranayama
11.00am ~ Brunch, expect a full and hearty meal with eggs, local fruits, homemade bread + a Greek breakfast speed, fresh juices and tea/coffee
12pm ~ Free time , hike to to the beach, dip in the ocean, read a book, you do you!
3pm ~ Light snack/ afternoon tea
5.30pm ~ Afternoon practice , a gentle, restorative practice or workshop-style class
7:30pm ~ Nourishing dinner together

Bed configurations can be single or double depending on preference and room type.

2 yoga classes per day
3 meals per day for the duration of the retreat, cooked by our private chef (accommodating dietary restrictions such as gluten free and vegan).

What’s not Included
Transport, travel insurance, laundry service, meals outside the retreat center, alcohol and chocolate from the snack bar, massage/bodywork treatments, 1:1 yoga sessions
How do I get to the accommodation?
You will need to organize your own transportation to our location. We recommend either car hire, taxi or once every one has signed up we will help link you all up so you can potentially car share.
I am new to yoga, can I still join?
Absolutely!!!! This retreat is for all levels of yoga. No problem at all if you have never done yoga before - infect what better way to begin.
How many people will be on the retreat?
We have a max of 14 spots available but depending on room arrangement it could be less:)
What should I bring?
Really anything you would take on vacation. A good book, something to yoga, lounge, swim and dance in. We have all the yoga props so no need to bring a mat unless you want to.
Can I come early and stay longer?
There are plenty of cute accommodation options in nearby towns, if your happy to arrange your own private accomodation, then yes for sure.
